Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Strategy for Implementing Sustainable Development Reporting by Enterprises.

This document outlines the directions for forming and implementing state policy in enterprise sustainability reporting based on unified methodological principles adopted in EU member states. Specifically, it mandates the development, submission, and publication of sustainability reports in Ukraine according to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and establishes procedures for auditing these reports, along with an effective mechanism for ensuring the quality of such services.

The Strategy will also support users in accessing reliable and objective sustainability reporting, essential for evaluating the environmental and social aspects of business activities and their impact on the natural environment. This initiative aligns Ukrainian legislation with EU standards, creates equal opportunities for businesses in international markets, and attracts investment. The approval of this Strategy for enterprise sustainability reporting marks a pivotal step toward more responsible and transparent business practices in Ukraine.
